DUMP TRAILER RENTAL – VEHICLE & LOAD POLICY
1. VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS
To rent and tow this trailer, your vehicle must meet ALL of the following:
- Minimum 1/2 ton truck (1500 series) or larger
- Minimum 10,000 lb towing capacity
- 2-5/16” ball hitch
- Class IV or Class V receiver hitch
- 7-pin round electrical plug (fully functional)
- Electric brake controller (required and operational)
- Vehicle must be in safe operating condition (tires, brakes, suspension)
Not Allowed:
- SUVs, crossovers, or vans (unless pre-approved)
- Bumper-mounted hitches
- 2” ball hitches
- Vehicles without brake controllers
- Any unsafe or overloaded towing setup
We reserve the right to deny rental with no refund if vehicle requirements are not met at pickup

2. TRAILER SPECIFICATIONS
- Trailer size: 7x16 ft dump trailer with 4 ft sides
- GVWR: approximately 14,000 lbs
- Empty weight: approximately 4,000–4,500 lbs
3. MAXIMUM PAYLOAD POLICY (STRICT)
Maximum allowed material weight:
- 6,000 lbs TOTAL – NO EXCEPTIONS
This limit is intentionally set below maximum capacity for safety and equipment protection.
4. LOAD LIMIT GUIDELINES
Maximum recommended by material type:
- Household junk / light debris: up to 6,000 lbs
- Construction debris: up to 5,000 lbs
- Dirt, gravel, sand: up to 4,000–5,000 lbs
- Concrete, brick, roofing shingles: maximum 3,000–4,000 lbs
5. LOADING RULES (MANDATORY)
- Do NOT load above the top rails of the trailer
- Heavy materials must be loaded no higher than halfway up the side walls
- Load must be evenly distributed front to back and side to side
- No concentrated loads (example: all weight in front or rear)
- Trailer must be tarped if material can blow out
6. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
- Customer is fully responsible for:
- Safe towing
- Proper loading
- Staying within vehicle towing limits
- Customer assumes all risk for damage caused by improper use
7. OVERLOADING & DAMAGE POLICY
STRICT ENFORCEMENT:
If the trailer is determined to be overloaded or improperly loaded:
- Trailer will NOT be hauled, dumped, or accepted for return until corrected
- Customer must remove excess material at their own expense
- Any delays caused will result in additional rental charges
DAMAGE LIABILITY:
Customer is responsible for ALL damage resulting from:
- Overloading
- Improper loading
- Improper towing
- Equipment misuse
This includes (but is not limited to):
- Axles
- Tires
- Wheels
- Hydraulic system
- Frame damage
- Electrical components
8. SECURITY DEPOSIT
- A $750 deposit is required
- Deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE if:
- Trailer is overloaded
- Equipment is misused
- Any damage occurs
- Terms of this agreement are violated
Additional charges may apply if damage exceeds deposit amount.
9. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
We reserve the right to:
- Refuse rental at pickup if vehicle is not compliant
- Refuse unsafe loads at any time
- Stop service if misuse or unsafe conditions are identified
10. AGREEMENT
By renting this trailer, customer acknowledges:
- They have read and understand all requirements
- They accept full responsibility for safe operation
- They agree to all load limits, rules, and financial liability
